Nano Brows

Coulsdon | Caterham | Surrey | Sussex

Nano Brows, also marketed in the UK as realism brows, hyper-realistic brows or 3D hairstroke brows, are created using nano needles in a tattoo machine. A nano needle can create precise and intricate semi-permanent brows for the realistic hair-like enhancement often seen in celebrity circles. This treatment is called either nano brows (based on the needle used) or realism brows due to the hyper-realistic and lifelike look achieved by Clinink PMU and Laser Clinic.

This technique is not to be confused with microblading.

We offer this treatment for semi-permanent brows in the following areas:

Coulsdon | Caterham | Surrey | Sussex

Nano brows are suited to clients of all ages, and Bianca achieves crisp, fluffy hairs for those with any skin type. This treatment is ideal for clients who prefer a subtle enhancement to their eyebrows, customised to natural brow shapes, colours and the desired style. Low in maintenance, all semi-permanent brows will last for between 12 and 24 months, fading gradually over that time.

Combination Nano Brows

The combination brow uses a blend of techniques to create the perfect fluffy but defined style. Crisp nano strokes at the front of the brow combine well with soft powdered shading to promote the appearance of a natural, well-defined brow. Perfect for those who want to wake up without the daily effort of applying make-up, combination nano brows are best suited to those with full, dense or sparse areas who want to achieve a more symmetrical shape.

Semi-permanent brows are suitable for all skin types, especially those with oily skin or for anybody who is looking to use Bianca to correct previous work.

Ombré Nano Brows

Ombré nano brows are known for gradient and a powdered shading effect where the colour transitions from light at the front of the brow to a darker tail replicating the appearance of a soft make-up look. These semi-permanent brows can be softened, or defined and customised to match different styles and intensities. This style also uses nano needles as a hairstroke application.

Ombre brows are low in maintenance and long lasting, reducing the need to apply daily make-up which is ideal for those with busier lifestyles.

Pre-Treatment Information

When designing your new nano brows, we will need to see where the natural hair grows in order to create a bespoke shape to you. It is best to refrain from waxing and threading for at least a week before your treatment. We prefer you to let your eyebrows grow for at least 2 weeks prior to your appointment.

If you regularly tint your eyebrows, please do this at least one week before so there is no tint trace on the skin. If you have fair brows and tint them, do this a week before your treatment too so we can aim to match to desired colours.

Semi-permanent brows do not change the colour of your own hair.

Aftercare

Our clients can expect the following after having nano brows applied:

Day 1 – Mild tenderness to the brow with slight pink/redness around the area.

Days 2 to 3 – Darkened areas, residual red pigment flakiness and a moderate amount of scabbing. Nano brows, however, are usually less likely to scab.

Days 4 to 8 – Scabs will begin to flake off anytime between 4 to 5 days but in some cases, flakiness might last a little longer (the ‘scabby’ phase).

After the scabs flake off, the pigment colour and strokes on nano brows will look very light, faded and blurry (the ‘light’ phase). After healing (up to 4 weeks after your treatment), the pigment will have more intense colour. You can then return to our clinic in Coulsdon for your top up around weeks 6 to 8.

On the day of the treatment, we advise that clients visiting us locally, or from the surrounding Caterham, Surrey and Sussex areas, clean their brows with a sterile and tepid water. Gently blot the area with a damp cotton pad every 1 to 2 hours. This will soak up the lymph fluid which will secrete from the skin.

It is normal to see a small amount of ink on the cotton pad.

In 2 to 3 days, you will notice that semi-permanent brows look darker and you may notice some slight shedding. During this time, apply a small amount of aftercare balm to lessen dryness and to allow the scabbing to come away.

Please do not pick the scabs and try to not rub at your new nano brows. The results will be seen in 4 weeks. Please do not wax or tint for at least 14 days.
