Laser hair removal, one of the most innovative treatments we have available at Clinink PMU and Laser Clinic, uses a concentrated light beam to rid clients of unwanted and unwelcome hair growth. During the procedure, the hair’s pigment (melanin) absorbs this light which then converts into heat. This will damage the follicles, which produce hair, to delay premature hair growth.

Preparation and Aftercare
Clinink PMU and Laser Clinic will invite you in for a skin consultation prior to an appointment for laser hair removal. Here, we will review your medical history, discuss the risks, take photographs for a before-and-after assessment, and take the time to listen to your own expectations of what we can do for you.
You will also be given advice on post-treatment skin care to include:
- Avoiding direct sunlight immediately after treatment
- Using broad-spectrum SPF30 sunscreen thereafter
- Abstaining from using creams that darken the skin
- Avoiding plucking, shaving and waxing for 4 weeks
If you use blood-thinning and anti-inflammatory medication, we recommend that you consult with your GP before attending our clinic for a treatment.
Do not use tanning beds for at least 6 weeks after the treatment date.
