The laser targets the pigment in the skin and breaks it into smaller particles, which your body then gradually clears away over time. This process happens naturally between each session, which is why multiple treatments are usually needed.

After your consultation and patch test, the laser is applied to the area in short pulses. Treatments are typically quick, depending on the size of the area, and most clients describe the sensation as sharp but manageable.

The area may appear red, feel warm or slightly sensitive straight after treatment. This is completely normal and usually settles within a few hours. In some cases, mild swelling or blistering can occur as part of the healing process.
